Hawaii was amazing!

Our Hawaii vacation started early morning on June 2, 2015.  We started by going to the Original pancake house for breakfast.   I love big breakfasts so this restaurant is one of my favorites.  After breakfast we drove to the airport and boarded a 6 hour plane ride.  :(   The plane ride was long, but seemed to go by fast.  The Hawaii airport was freezing so when we walked outside it was so warm, it was humid, and the all you could smell was flowers!
Right before boarding the plane.

First time in Hawaii!

Waiting for the rental car.
After waiting for the rental car, we were finally ready to go to our beach house.   I was so surprised to see no brown on the mountains.  All you see is green.   There were vines hanging over the roads and there were a bunch of tropical looking tress.   Flowers were everywhere.  They were on trees too.  It was gorgeous!

My dad got us lays with real flowers on them.
They smelled amazing!

At some of the restaurants we went to there was squirt guns on the tables
so you could shot the birds away from eating your food. :)

First day on the beach!
The beach was amazing! When we had finished unpacking we spent the rest of the night on the beach.
This was my room!

We ate every meal on that outside table.
On Thursday my Mom, Kyla, MaCade, and me went horse riding at a place called Happy Trails.  The trail was beautiful and the horse riding was so fun.   We were shaded the whole time and at the end of the ride we got a beautiful view of the ocean. My horse's name was Jewel.

Behind us were miles and miles of pineapple fields.
We also saw the Dole plantation.

With the help of Dad our pyramid turned out amazing!
Most of the time we spent on the beach or in our house's swimming pool.   The house came with boogie boards, so we also spent time doing that.

The water was very clear and so warm.

On Monday we went snorkeling at hanauma bay.
We got there early in the morning so we could find a parking a spot and not wait in line.  We spent three hours snorkeling.  I saw all different kinds of fish.  They were so colorful and they swam right under us.  Snorkeling was amazing even though the water was a little cold.
This is when we were at the blow hole.

For lunch on Monday we ate a delicious shrimp truck.
Later on Monday we went to turtle cove and watched huge sea turtles come to shore.  There was one on the beach and at least three in the water.

On Wednesday we went to the Hawaii temple.  It was very pretty, but I was very surprised how small it was compared to the Utah temples.

On Friday we spent the day walking around Pearl Harbor.  Although we did not go on the Arizona memorial, we were able to walk around the USS Missouri, which was an amazing experience.   I am so grateful for all those amazing men who died fighting for our country.

Standing were the Japanese surrendered to the
Americans.

The food was amazing,  except for one restaurant that we
went to.  It was an authentic hawaiian restaurant
and none of us liked it, but besides that the food was great!

The last day in Hawaii. :(

Hawaii was the best trip I have ever been on! I am so grateful for my wonderful family who shared this experience with me.

Shoes!

Okay, the reason I decided to post on shoes is #1.  I can't think of anything else to post on, #2. Shoes are amazing, and #3.  Shoes are fun to post about.

Shoes come in all shapes, sizes, and colors.   I have never owned a shoe that is hard to walk in, but I think it would be fun trying to walk is shoes that are absolutely outrageous!

Here are some shoes that I would want to try walking in, but never owning.

Shoes I would never ever want to walk for fear of spraining my ankle!

Well there you are!  Some of the most craziest shoes ever!  I cannot even imagine how hard it must be to walk in those shoes.
I would rather stick with something cute and comfortable.

Wow time does fly!

Well, it has defiantly been a while since I have posted, so it is probably good I am posting now.   These past couple of months have been crazy and full of events.

In February my family and I moved from Highland to Cedar Hills, which is not very far away, but instead of owning a house we are just renting.

In March I had my big dance competition at the Marriott center.   My partner and I did very well.  We made a couple of semi-finals, and my team won first in both medleys.  It was a exciting week!!!!

At the beginning of April I got a new dance partner and went to California to have lessons with professional ballroom coaches.  It was very warm and the lessons where amazing.

At the end of April I got to take a lesson from the Latin world champion, Riccardo Cocchi!   It was and amazing lesson and I learned so much.

And in June I am going to Hawaii for 10 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know the Church is true!

The church has brought me so much happiness these past years.  As I grow older I am starting to understand the church better and I am starting to know of it's truth.   The feeling I get in my heart is the Holy Ghost.  I am absolutely sure of the churches truth!  I do know that Jesus is the Christ and that he will come and save me.  He died for me and gave me hope to return again to Him and Heavenly Father.  Jesus Christ is my brother.  He never gives up on me and he is always there.  I feel so strongly about this gospel and I am so grateful to know of the gospel that has blessed my life.  I am so happy to have the commandments and have to opportunity to be apart of an eternal family.  I know that Christ will come to save His people.  He is our Savior.  I am so so grateful to have the Book of Mormon in my possession.  I am grateful for the prophets in the past who took so much time to write the Book of Mormon.  It has taught me and blessed me immensely.  I am grateful for temples.   I am grateful that I am able to be forgiven of my sins through Jesus Christ.  I love Jesus and Heavenly Father.  Amen.
