Hawaii was amazing!

Our Hawaii vacation started early morning on June 2, 2015.  We started by going to the Original pancake house for breakfast.   I love big breakfasts so this restaurant is one of my favorites.  After breakfast we drove to the airport and boarded a 6 hour plane ride.  :(   The plane ride was long, but seemed to go by fast.  The Hawaii airport was freezing so when we walked outside it was so warm, it was humid, and the all you could smell was flowers!
Right before boarding the plane.

First time in Hawaii!

Waiting for the rental car.
After waiting for the rental car, we were finally ready to go to our beach house.   I was so surprised to see no brown on the mountains.  All you see is green.   There were vines hanging over the roads and there were a bunch of tropical looking tress.   Flowers were everywhere.  They were on trees too.  It was gorgeous!

My dad got us lays with real flowers on them.
They smelled amazing!

At some of the restaurants we went to there was squirt guns on the tables
so you could shot the birds away from eating your food. :)

First day on the beach!
The beach was amazing! When we had finished unpacking we spent the rest of the night on the beach.
This was my room!

We ate every meal on that outside table.
On Thursday my Mom, Kyla, MaCade, and me went horse riding at a place called Happy Trails.  The trail was beautiful and the horse riding was so fun.   We were shaded the whole time and at the end of the ride we got a beautiful view of the ocean. My horse's name was Jewel.

Behind us were miles and miles of pineapple fields.
We also saw the Dole plantation.

With the help of Dad our pyramid turned out amazing!
Most of the time we spent on the beach or in our house's swimming pool.   The house came with boogie boards, so we also spent time doing that.

The water was very clear and so warm.

On Monday we went snorkeling at hanauma bay.
We got there early in the morning so we could find a parking a spot and not wait in line.  We spent three hours snorkeling.  I saw all different kinds of fish.  They were so colorful and they swam right under us.  Snorkeling was amazing even though the water was a little cold.
This is when we were at the blow hole.

For lunch on Monday we ate a delicious shrimp truck.
Later on Monday we went to turtle cove and watched huge sea turtles come to shore.  There was one on the beach and at least three in the water.

On Wednesday we went to the Hawaii temple.  It was very pretty, but I was very surprised how small it was compared to the Utah temples.

On Friday we spent the day walking around Pearl Harbor.  Although we did not go on the Arizona memorial, we were able to walk around the USS Missouri, which was an amazing experience.   I am so grateful for all those amazing men who died fighting for our country.

Standing were the Japanese surrendered to the
Americans.

The food was amazing,  except for one restaurant that we
went to.  It was an authentic hawaiian restaurant
and none of us liked it, but besides that the food was great!

The last day in Hawaii. :(

Hawaii was the best trip I have ever been on! I am so grateful for my wonderful family who shared this experience with me.
